After what was a locked down warm up match with the Chipolo polo of Zambia the eagles will jet into Benquela , Angola on Friday to try for another overdue African championship win.  Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) spokesman Ademola Olajire told radio africa1 in Durban that a 23-man squad was selected earlier in the week 

"The full squad has since been ratified by the Confederation of African Football" The not so shocking suprise inclussion is the listing of the explosive striker Obafemi Martins who  plays for Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga. Martins recently had surgery on a shin injury and his availability had been  in doubt.The team doctors certified him fit.

Shuaibu is one of the experienced and successful soccer national team coaches in the history of mankind. The statistics will shock you .He simply does not loose matches. Add the fact that he has the mental and intelectual capacity to coach the national team of a country where every tom dick harry is an arm chair coach.Finaly , YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE AMODUS WC TICKET AND GIVE IT TO ANOTHER MAD MAN WHITE BLACK OR GREEN. Learn from experience please do not milosovitch this team as you did in france 98 where spewed Phillip troussier had a better run than Bora his replacement. When the eagles play it cost the government and the people of Nigeria a fortune. At a princely appearance fee of $10,000 per player, factor in the coaches and an football federation NFF bereft of ideas and it is quite a bill, go do the math. You see the 2-2 draw was not free and the fact that a winning fee is paid for a draw is questionable. They say they had a pre nuptial and so a deal is a deal but who are the mad men who guaranteed payment without performance and what type of contract has no exception clause? This development in the eyes of reasonable men and of course the law is ludicrous, unacceptable, fraudulent and ultra vires. Again,where is the motivation to fight to win when win or draw you get paid anyway? How can players get paid for just showing up and strolling around the soccer pitch?That we drew with the visiting team in Abuja was enough injury but the insult to the injury is that the Nigerian national team went to bed on the day fire was on the mountain. A curious anti climax to a series of bad decisions.

Those who engineered this type of payment structure for a team that failed to qualify for the last world cup must have vested interest in the money . lacking business acumen, incompetent ,these folks are common thieves. I am pained because this nonsense comes on the heel of the passing of the peoples lawyer Chief Gani Fawehimi May his soul rest in peace. Who will fight for the masses ?, Who will wrong this injustice ? Death you have no shame. Now,this is where the attorney general comes in. Please on behalf of the all Nigerians who on or before match day fasted and prayed for victory but got disappointment instead when the NFF opted to parade a bunch of spoilt brats on vacation.With due respect school team players would not commit such foolishness , Any Nigerian high school soccer team would have fared better. Soccer fans suffered a loss of income , time , palpating and pounding blood pressure watching a bunch of lazy clowns masquerading as the national team of Nigeria. A national team is an army of patriots who fight till the last drop of their blood to achieve the stated goal and objective which is to defend the integrity and national pride these ones are ………(Please fill in the blank space ) . I waited for the Nigerian Football Federation NFF to accept responsibilities and at the least apologize to disappointed fans but what did they do they showed that if Nigeria went to the world cup or not they already got money in the bank and did not care.The went into the usual ritual of money packaging,slicing , sharing and stealing.My evidence of a non repentant premeditated collaboration to steal from the national treasury. The loot was out of the door , "we no go return am". I challenge the FA President Sani Lulu Abdullahi to publish the prematch plan and the post match analysis and the minutes of the meeting were it was agreed to pay $10000 per player for a draw. I expected only two actions from the FF 1. we are sorry Nigerians and 2. The Resignation letters of two honourablemen Sani Lulu Abdulahi and Coach Amodu Shuiabu made available to the press. Well ,integrity is not in the dictionary of this football house. Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Michael Aondoakaa must treat this as urgent and as a matter of national security.

EFCC has worked to do here, those who steal from the national treasury what do we do to them? A board that sat and paid for work not done, for coaches that did not coach for players that did not play at twice the fee of the furnished deliverable has committed an massive economic fraud. Scratch and see what has been going on in the glass house. Will there be a can of worms or not time will tell This dysfunctional FF must be held accountable. They had the temerity to short change a loyal and supportive people. ME I TRUST EFCC…..When a bad show is staged the fans deserve a refund, the people will like to see some justice done.
