Thank you DROGBA

Didier Drogba and the Elephants of Ivory Coast
will be leading the African Challenge for
the 2010 world Cup.

Drogba was on target as the Elephants of Cote 'dIviore recorded a 1-1 draw with Malawi to book an early ticket to South Africa 2010 . The Chelsea star declared his team agenda for the FIFA world cup next year: "We will do everything we can to get to the final and hopefully win it," Drogba said on Sunday at a press conference in Johannesburg, a day after Ivory Coast qualified for the 2010 World Cup.

CAN IVORY COAST WIN THE WORLD CUP IN SA 2010? ......Comment

The Ivorians had sent out early signals when they crushed Malawi 5-0 in the first leg of the World Cup qualifiers on March 29, 2009.

Acrossthe continent in comming reports say most of the other African top teams are walking very tight ropes .Chief among the mathematical gymnasts is the super eagles of Nigeria who need a financially challenged Harambee stars team to beat heavily motivated Carthage eagles of Tunisia in Tunis. The Last time both teams met Tunisia triumphed in Nairobi.Nigeria is in a duel just now in Abuja with Mozambique.
